At Solent Junior School there was the problem of an existing three year old ICT Suite which was proving to be inadequate and inappropriate for current needs. The ICT needed upgrading and updating and so the school started to look at how this could be achieved.

Leverstock were appointed as the new ICT provider as they shared the school’s vision and knew exactly how to achieve their goals.

The ICT Suite has now been modernised, is more effective, comfortably seating 30 pupils and incorporates thin client technology. So not only do the school have a new ICT Suite, an added benefit has been that their existing equipment was able to be utilised into the classrooms as thin client terminals, thereby extending their useful life and giving an increased number of learn spaces.

To support the new ICT facilities, the school have a Remote Support contract with Leverstock who are able to resolve faults and install software completely remotely, without going to site. This has worked very well for Solent Junior School, with Leverstock supporting the school’s own ICT staff.
