Our ICT Facilities

Our ICT suite was in need of an update as we had only 15 non-networked PCs and a few standalone devices around the school.  We didn’t have the time, money or expertise to embark on such a project and wanted to work with a local company who would be able to deal with all aspects of our ICT upgrade.

“We looked at a variety of approaches but felt that the best way to ensure value was to work with an organisation who had proven themselves in a similar environment to ours”, explained headteacher Ros Taylor.  Following visits to other local schools, Ros chose Leverstock because we clearly had all of the qualities and expertise Kingsway Junior School were looking for.

Kingsway decided on a package that included terminals for 29 pupils, a teacher’s PC, interactive whiteboards and by re-configuring existing PCs, each classroom and the library enjoys access to the internet and the teaching resources.

Kingsway’s new ICT solution has reduced administration and paperwork and has increased the ICT skills of both teachers and pupils in a very short space of time.
