Choose from our range of three website design packages to bring your school to life online. Explore our range of optional extra services to engage your pupils in the production of content, whilst enhancing their ICT skills.

Standard

Our Standard Package gives you the framework with which to build your website.

With a “What you see is what you get” (WYSIWYG) content management system, adding, editing and updating content on a regular basis couldn’t be simpler – it’s just like using Microsoft Word (and certainly easier than Dreamweaver!)

Incredible functionality:

  • Newsfeed – add news items as they occur
  • Links to social network sites
  • Surveys
  • Contact form(s) – can also be used to report absence online
  • Online shop- reduce footfall in reception at peak times by allowing parents to order uniform and other goods online and sending them home through registration groups.
  • Online diary (using Google Calendar or our own bespoke software)
  • Event registration – accept bookings (and payment where necessary) for anything from school trips, theatre productions or parent/teacher consultation evening
  • Google Map location (including “find us / directions” functionality)
  • Password protected areas – useful for managing after-school club documents or information accessible only to staff or Governors.
  • eNewsletter – keep in touch with parents and pupils (past and present), as well as members of the community with an eNewsletter which follows the design of your website

The enhanced package gives you access to a choice of 10 designs – customised to match your school colour scheme.

 

Enhanced

In addition to the features and functionality listed in the Standard package, the Enhanced package gets your site up-and-running for you.

  • Transfer of existing content – All existing pages, information, downloadable documents etc will be transferred to your new site by our installation team.
  • Configuration of functionality – one consultation with a member of our installation team and we’ll do the rest for you!
    • Contact form(s) – including a lst of recipients so messages are delivered direct, rather than the office having to forward messages.
    • Forms (such as absence report) set up.
    • Online shop – payment gateway (Paypal) set up, products added, settings and reports customised to your liking
    • Google Calendar set up and existing events transferred in
    • Event registration – payment gateway (Paypal) set up, existing events transferred in and settings, email notifications and reports customised to your liking
    • Google Map location (including “find us / directions” functionality) added to your site – including telephone number and link to online contact form
    • Password protected areas – username and passwords set up for Staff / Governors.
    • eNewsletter – front-end subscription forms added (request for fields such as name, child’s name, year group etc), email design customised to match your site theme and settings customised.
  • QR (quick-read) code which you can publish on school letters etc, which directs parents and pupils who use a smart phone or mobile device straight to the appropriate page on your website.

Bespoke

Our Bespoke package is a whole website, with the features and functionality of both the Standard and Enhanced packages and complete customisation of the site to your preference:

  • Custom theme design - A completely custom design – to reflect your school’s individuality (this can include sub-themes for departments/year groups).
  • Additional Content – Investing in a new website is a great time to edit existing content and add the latest information – our bespoke package includes loading this information.
  • Configuration of shop, newsletter, calendar etc – If you have lots of uniform items to sell through your shop, events to add to the calendar or forms and surveys to publish – save yourself plenty of time and allow our installation to load all this data in for you.

 

Domain registration

If you don’t already own a top-level domain name, we can register one on your behalf (with a choice of domain suffix: .co.uk / .com / org.uk / .net)
